Chemotherapy

Cancer? What Now?

If you're facing a new cancer diagnosis, we want you to know that we're sorry and that we're here to help you fight. CRMC provides outpatient chemotherapies, targeted therapies, and immunotherapies for most cancer types.

You are Not Alone

Cancer is a common diagnosis, with dozens of new cancer cases being diagnosed in the Childress area each year. In previous times, routine cancer care for many in this region was more than 100 miles away in cities like Amarillo, Lubbock, and Wichita Falls. So many long trips is difficult, especially for people who are already sick.

Meet Our Local Oncologist

Fred Hardwicke, MD has had eight years of experience with CRMC. For 21 years, Dr. Hardwicke taught oncology (the treatment of cancer) and hematology (the treatment of blood disorders) to young physicians in Lubbock and had an active clinical oncology practice there. In June of 2021 Dr. Hardwicke moved to Childress to focus on rural oncology services for the area. We are pleased to have a physician like Dr. Hardwicke who has a broad range of experience in cancer medicine and is able to guide patients to the proper pills or infusions along with supportive care that will lead to cancer cure or control. To make a appointment with Dr. Hardwicke please call Tamisha Northam at (940)937-9569.
