Childress Regional Medical
Center School of Vocational Nursing was
established in 1998 by the late Katherine R.
Lindley. The school is approved by the Texas
State Board of Nurse Examiners and begins in
September of each year with graduation the
following August. Each year a maximum of 20
students are selected to enroll in the program
and each graduate is eligible to take the State
board examination for licensure as a Vocational
Nurse. Since its inception, the School of
Vocational Nursing has graduated 10 classes for
a total of 89 nurses. 7 of the 10 graduating
classes boast a 100% pass rate on the State
boards with an overall average of 93.4% pass
rate for the last 10 years. For more

Our tuition and fees are
all-inclusive. Your tuition and fees cover all
books, malpractice insurance, background check,
State Board examination fees, NCLEX-PN review
course, uniform tops and uniform patches (3
each) along with Hepatitis B vaccinations.
